Fast EV Charging Installed at Chappell Engineering

The EV charging team at Frocester Electrical have just completed the installation of charging points at successful and forward thinking specialist machining company Chappell Engineering based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Partly funded through the OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme, Frocester installed six charging points each capable of operating at 22KW from a 32 Amp 3 phase supply to give the fastest charging available with an AC supply. Chappell’s Business Manager, Emma Mitchell said “We’re very pleased to have engaged Frocester to carry out this work for us. They quickly understood our requirements, sourced very suitable equipment and installed it neatly with minimum interference to our normal daily operation.  We’ll definitely use them again and are happy to recommend them to others.” As well as the charging points, Chappell are striving to improve their sustainability by investing in electric vehicles and solar PV.
