Frocester Group is continuing to expand, welcoming six new team members to the business across project management, service administration, and fire & security engineering – the latest step in a period of sustained growth for the company.
Building the team
The latest additions to the team are:
- David Lyne – Project Manager
- Lillie Le Page – Service Administrator
- Callum McFadden – Fire & Security Apprentice
- Keegan Wood – Fire & Security Apprentice
- Tom Gibbs – Fire & Security Apprentice
- James Gardner – Fire & Security Apprentice
Between them, the new starters span three core parts of the business: project delivery, customer-facing service support, and the technical engineering teams who install and maintain fire, security and access control systems on site.
A business on a growth trajectory
This latest round of hiring reflects a wider pattern of growth at Frocester Group.
The company’s project pipeline continues to expand across healthcare, commercial, education and residential sectors. Recent work includes the design and build of a new IVF clinic at Shawfair, Edinburgh, for Genus Medical – a project that saw Frocester Group deliver a fully integrated security and life-safety system, including Paxton access control, monitored intruder alarms, AMPAC and Apollo fire systems, Hanwha CCTV, and an integrated Cameo disabled refuge system. Projects of this scale and complexity are becoming increasingly common for the business, driving the need for a larger, more experienced team.
Elsewhere, Frocester Security is currently delivering a full fire, security and access control package for Zest Student Accommodation in Filton, Bristol – a newly built development of more than 70 apartments for client Sampson Homes. The scope spans HD CCTV across communal areas, a fully compliant fire alarm and life-safety system, cloud-based keyless access control, and the network and structured cabling infrastructure that supports it all. Delivered within a live construction environment and across multiple build stages, it’s a good example of the kind of large, multi-discipline projects the growing team is now equipped to take on.
Investing in the next generation of engineers
Notably, three of the five new starters – Callum McFadden, Keegan Wood, James Gardner and Tom Gibbs – have joined Frocester Group through its apprenticeship programme, training as Fire & Security Engineers.
The fire and security sector has faced a well-documented skills shortage in recent years, and Frocester Group’s continued investment in apprenticeships reflects a deliberate strategy: developing engineering talent in-house rather than relying solely on the external job market. It’s an approach that builds long-term technical capability within the business, while giving early-career engineers a genuine route into a skilled trade.
This latest intake adds to a growing number of apprentices who have come through the programme, reflecting Frocester Group’s ongoing commitment to training and development as a core part of how the business grows.
What this means for customers
As the team grows, so does Frocester Group’s capacity to take on larger and more complex projects, respond faster to customer needs, and maintain the high standard of service the business is known for.
