Double Distinction for Apprentice Sophia

Double Distinction for Apprentice Sophia

We’re proud to celebrate an achievement by one of our team members, Sophia Drury, who has recently been awarded a Double Distinction for her professional discussion and presentation as part of her Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.

Sophia currently works as a Projects Co-ordinator at Frocester. She supports project managers with daily operations, organises meetings, and coordinates key project deliverables.

Reflecting on her apprenticeship experience, Sophia shared:

“I’ve really enjoyed having the independence of working while completing this apprenticeship. Both work and New College Swindon have been really supportive. Starting this job straight from school meant I had to learn office etiquette and how to conduct myself in a professional manner.

I enjoyed attending workshops where I got the opportunity to network with a variety of people and learn about the different experiences of my peers. The content was really helpful, and I was able to implement this back in the workplace.

The assignments were enjoyable, and I’m so glad I chose the apprenticeship route. The EPA was challenging, but it was nice to tie together all the things I learned. I’ve grown in confidence, can adapt to change, and have become more proactive in my role.”

With her apprenticeship now completed, Sophia is excited to grow at Frocester, having already gained insight into various aspects of the business.

Congratulations, Sophia – we look forward to seeing you progress in your role as a valuable part of the team.
