Frocester Group are delighted to have become a sponsor of Wiscombe Hillclimb, a popular series of hillclimb races held in the beautiful grounds of Wiscombe House near Honiton, Devon. Run by Wiscombe Ltd, races are always well attended by both competitors and spectators. Drivers take on the challenge of the hill on motorbikes, in saloon cars, vintage cars and single seat racing cars with some of the single seaters reaching speeds of up to 130mph on the straight. The technical challenge of the hill and excellent organisation of events has earned Wiscombe the honour of hosting one of the most respected rounds of the British Hillclimb Championships. Commenting on the new arrangement with Frocester Group, Wiscombe Ltd Director, Matt Isaac said “We’re very pleased to have Frocester Group on board as a sponsor. Their engineering expertise will help us improve the structural and safety aspects of the course and they’ll also be able to help us with any electrical or CCTV requirements that may crop up.”
