Solar panels have been installed at Frocester’s fabrication facilities in Rooksbridge, Somerset. The 24Kw installation comprises 88 high efficiency Trina panels coupled with Solar Edge inverters and should produce approximately 22,000 Kwh of electricity per year. From now on energy thirsty processes like welding and waterjet cutting will use green, renewable energy and reduce the company’s carbon footprint by approximately 9 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
